Deterior was a a prototype environment I created as contracted work for a funded project.
The concept was to explore a create a narrative walking sim set in the abandoned power station, pigeon house. The core mechanic was to be set around the deterioration of the environment tied to the player’s movement. The material presented here is some of the exploratory tech demo and prototype environment that were created to gauge the feasibility of the project during the research / pre-production phase.
There are a lot of bloom and post effects but to be fair, this was novel at the time of creation.
